Effective Date: September 30, 2026
Welcome to The Social Good AI Hub (the “Hub”). The Hub is operated and maintained by ID Insight, Inc. (“IDinsight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a charitable organization that operates the Hub with grant support from Google.org. The Hub is a searchable, structured repository in which each entry describes an organization’s use of artificial intelligence for a social purpose, including the problem addressed, the technology used, the deployment context, and, where available, evidence of impact.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your (“you,” “your,” or “User”) access to and use of the Hub, including all content, features, functionality, and services offered on or through the Hub. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Hub.
By accessing or using the Hub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and the IDinsight Privacy Statement, as supplemented by the Hub Privacy Statement (together, the “Privacy Statement”), which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Hub.
IDinsight reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. Material changes will be communicated to you by email (if you have registered an account) or by posting a prominent notice on the Hub. The “Effective Date” at the top of these Terms indicates when the most recent revisions were made. Your continued use of the Hub after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Hub.
Eligibility. The Hub is designed for use by professionals and organizations in the social impact, development, and technology sectors. By accessing or using the Hub, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, that you have the authority to enter into these Terms, and that, if you are accessing or using the Hub on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Account Creation. Certain features of the Hub may require you to create an account (“Account”). When creating an Account, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your organizational affiliation; (b) maintain and promptly update your Account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete; and (c) maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account, whether or not authorized by you.
Organization Profile Verification. The Hub allows organizations to claim and manage their organizational profiles (“Organization Profiles”). To claim an Organization Profile, you must verify your affiliation with the organization by using an email address associated with the organization’s domain (the “Domain Verification” process). The first individual to successfully complete Domain Verification for a given organization will be designated as the initial administrator (“Organization Admin”) for that Organization Profile. IDinsight may, in its sole discretion, perform additional manual verification to confirm the legitimacy of Organization Admin claims.
Account Deletion. You may delete your Account at any time through the Hub’s account settings or by contacting IDinsight. Upon deletion: (a) your personal Account and associated personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Statement; and (b) any content you submitted in connection with an Organization Profile or as user-submitted use case data may be retained by IDinsight as reasonably necessary to maintain the integrity of the Hub’s repository, subject to applicable law.
Account Termination. IDinsight may suspend or terminate your Account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may delete your Account at any time through the Hub’s account settings or by contacting IDinsight at the contact information provided below. Upon termination, your right to use the Hub ceases immediately. The license grants you have made to IDinsight with respect to User Content shall survive termination, and any content you submitted in connection with an Organization Profile may be retained by IDinsight in accordance with these Terms.
Permitted Uses. You may use the Hub solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Permitted uses include browsing the repository of AI use cases, submitting information about AI use cases, using the Hub’s AI-powered search and chat features, and managing your Organization Profile, in each case in a manner consistent with the Hub’s intended purpose of fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing for social good.
Prohibited Uses. You agree not to, and agree not to assist, encourage, or enable any third party to, engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
Content Review and Enforcement. User contributions may be reviewed before they appear on the Hub, and IDinsight may edit, decline, or remove any submission at its discretion, including where a use case does not fit the Hub’s scope or purpose. IDinsight does not undertake to review all content before it is posted and cannot ensure prompt removal of objectionable material after posting. IDinsight reserves the right to suspend or terminate Accounts and to report violations to law enforcement authorities.
Hub Operation and IDinsight Marks. IDinsight operates and maintains the Hub, including its design, layout, look and feel, and aggregated content (collectively, the “Hub Materials”). IDinsight’s trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and domain names associated with the Hub (the “IDinsight Marks”) are and remain the exclusive property of IDinsight. You may not use the IDinsight Marks without IDinsight’s prior written consent or misrepresent your affiliation with IDinsight or the Hub.
User Submitted Content. You retain ownership of any content, data, text, images, or other materials that you submit, post, or otherwise make available through the Hub (“User Content”). By submitting User Content to the Hub, you grant IDinsight a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable (through multiple tiers), and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, display, perform, and distribute your User Content in any media or format, whether now known or hereafter developed, in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Hub and IDinsight’s mission. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe or violate any third party’s intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights. You may not include personal information about beneficiaries or other third parties, or any sensitive or special category information, in your submissions.
Crawler-Sourced Data. The Hub aggregates and curates data from publicly available sources through automated web crawlers. Such data is compiled, organized, and presented by IDinsight as part of the Hub Materials. Third-party content sourced in this manner remains the intellectual property of the respective third-party owners. IDinsight’s selection, arrangement, coordination, and curation of such data may constitute a protectable compilation under applicable law, to the extent such compilation reflects original expression and is not otherwise subject to the open-licensing obligations described above.
Third-Party Content. The Hub may contain content, data, links, or references provided by or originating from third parties. All such third-party content remains the property of the respective third-party owners, and IDinsight does not claim ownership thereof. Inclusion of third-party content on the Hub does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation. Where the Hub contains links to third-party websites or resources, those links are provided for your convenience only, and IDinsight accepts no responsibility for the contents of those sites or any loss or damage arising from your use of them.

Operator Transition. IDinsight may transfer operation of the Hub to another organization. In the event of any such transfer, the successor entity will be bound by the obligations to Users under these Terms or will provide reasonable notice and a transition period during which Users may export their data or discontinue use. Nothing in these Terms guarantees that the Hub will be operated by IDinsight indefinitely or that the Hub will continue in perpetuity.

IDinsight does not warrant that the Hub will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content or data available through the Hub will be accurate, complete, or current.
AI Outputs. The Hub’s AI-powered search and chat features generate outputs, including search results, summaries, and conversational responses (“AI Outputs”). AI Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, technical, or any other form of professional advice. Your continued use of the Hub after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Hub and, if applicable, delete your Account.
Survival. Any provision of these Terms that by its nature should survive termination will survive, including without limitation provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Statement, constitute the entire agreement between you and IDinsight with respect to your use of the Hub.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. IDinsight’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without IDinsight’s prior written consent. IDinsight may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction, including in connection with any governance transition described in Section 5.3.
