IDinsight Supplemental Privacy Statement

Effective Date: September 30, 2026

Thank you for visiting the Social Good AI Hub! This Privacy Statement supplements the ID Insight, Inc. privacy statement and describes the additional, Hub-specific privacy practices that apply to the Social Good AI Hub (the “Hub”), a public web platform operated by ID Insight, Inc. (“IDinsight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) a charitable organization that operates the Hub with grant support from Google.org.

This Hub Privacy Statement supplements, and should be read together with, the IDinsight Privacy Statement (the “IDinsight privacy statement”), which describes IDinsight’s website privacy practices, including with respect to legal bases for processing, cookies and analytics, data security, international data transfers and retention, and your privacy rights.

Except as expressly modified below, the IDinsight privacy statement governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information through the Hub. If this Hub Privacy Statement and the IDinsight privacy statement conflict on a matter specific to the Hub, this Hub Privacy Statement controls for that matter.

1. About the Hub

The Hub is a searchable, structured repository in which each entry describes an organization’s use of artificial intelligence for a social purpose, including the problem addressed, the technology used, the deployment context, and, where available, evidence of impact. As of the date of this Statement, the Hub includes information on approximately 400 use cases from more than 240 organizations across roughly 125 countries.

Repository entries are populated in three ways:

  • Automated web crawling and desk research of publicly available sources;
  • Direct outreach by IDinsight to funders, accelerators, and implementing organizations; and
  • Voluntary submission or update of use case information by organizations, funders, or individuals through a crowdsourcing/submission portal, or by creating a Hub account under the Social Good AI Hub Terms and Conditions.

The Hub also offers an integrated large language model (“LLM”) feature that allows users to search, compare, and summarize repository entries using natural-language queries.

2. Information We Collect Through the Hub

In addition to the categories described in the IDinsight privacy statement’s “Information Collection” section, through the Hub we may collect:

  • Account information from individuals associated with an organization who register for a Hub account, such as name, email address, organization, and role;
  • Submission information provided by organizations, funders, or individuals who submit or update a use case entry, including business contact details and project information;
  • Publicly available information that we or our automated tools identify and add to the repository about an organization’s AI use case, which includes the names or business contact details of individuals associated with that organization;
  • Queries and interactions with the Hub’s integrated LLM feature; and
  • Usage and technical information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, as described in the IDinsight privacy statement’s cookie and analytics disclosures.

3. User Generated Content

When you voluntarily disclose information about yourself in the content that you submit to us, including through the Hub (such as your name, phone number, and personal email address), this information will be publicly available, can be collected and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from others. Such activities are beyond our control. Please refrain from disclosing personal information on the Hub that you intend to keep private.

Please also note that by submitting a public posting through the Hub, We may reproduce some or all of it in our promotional materials—either elsewhere on our website, our social media, in an email, or in our newsletters.

We do not intend the Hub to collect personal information about the beneficiaries of the AI use cases described in the repository. We ask organizations and individuals who submit or update use case information not to include personal information about beneficiaries or other third parties, or any sensitive or special category information, in their submissions.

4. Publication of Information in the Repository

The Hub is a public platform. Information included in a published use case entry — including business contact information about an organization’s personnel, where applicable — may be publicly viewable, indexed by search engines, and used by third parties, consistent with the treatment of User Contributions described in the IDinsight privacy statement. We review submissions and crawled content against the commitments in Section 3 above, and we will promptly review and remove or redact personal information published in the repository that we determine was not appropriate for publication, or upon a valid removal request.

5. AI Features

The Hub’s integrated LLM feature processes repository content and user queries to generate search results, comparisons, and summaries. This feature is provided with the assistance of one or more third-party AI service providers, subject to the use restrictions described in the IDinsight privacy statement’s “Service Providers” section.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Links

The Hub uses cookies and similar technologies, and may use third-party analytics providers, as described in the IDinsight privacy statement’s “Information We Automatically Collect and Cookie Policy” section. The Hub may also link to, or reference, the websites of organizations featured in the repository. As described in the IDinsight privacy statement’s “External Links” section, we do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites.

7. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate the Hub, including for web hosting, web crawling, and the AI feature described in Section 5. These providers are subject to the restrictions on use of personal information described in the IDinsight privacy statement’s “Service Providers” section.
